A case has been registered against Malayalam film actor Vijay Babu for allegedly assaulting his business partner and producer Sandra Thomas on Tuesday.
Producer Sandra Thomas has alleged that she was assaulted by Vijay Babu at her office in Elamakkara on Tuesday, the police said.
The actor is the co-founder of film production company Friday Film House along with Sandra Thomas.
Sandra was admitted to a private hospital in the city, police said. Rumors were rife that Sandra Thomas wanted to end the partnership with Vijay Babu.
Meanwhile, Vijay Babu, took to Facebook and denied Sandra Thomas's allegations.
