A scene from the movieKarunagappally: A student was taken into custody by the police here on Friday after he tried to record newly released film Paavada on his mobile phone.
The incident happened at Carnival theatre here.
The student had captured the film up to around 45 minutes when some other audience complained to the theatre employees who in turn called up the police.
The film starring Prithviraj and directed by G. Marthandan was released on Friday.
