Akshay Kumar-starrer Airlift has finally hit the screens. The film, based on the evacuation of Kuwait-based Indians during the 1990, has bagged a lot of attention because of its subject.

Apart from that, the film has a Kerala connection too.

Airlift is written and directed by Raja Krishna Menon. Although not many are aware about the background of the director, Raja Krishna Menon has his roots in 'God's own country' and Airlift is his third project.
