Titled "Ammapoovinum", this lullaby marks the retirement of the legendary playback singer from her illustrious career that spanned six decades. The song was launched at the promotional event held in Abu Dhabi. Midhun Eshwar has composed the music to the lyrics of Roy Puramadam.
'Pathu Kalpanakal' is the first directorial from ace editor Don Max. Meera Jasmine is also making her comeback into Malayalam films after a brief hiatus through this crime thriller as a police officer.
Apart from Anoop Menon and Meera Jasmine, Kaniha, Kavitha Nair, Thampi Antony, Prasanth Narayanan and Joju George are also part of the cast. Sangeeth Jain has written the screenplay with additional scripting done by Soorej and Neerej. Muzik247 is the official music label. The movie is produced by Manu Padmanabhan Nair, Jiji Anchani, Jacob Koeypuram and Biju Thoranathel under the banner Shutterbugs Entertainments.
