Kalidas Jayaram and gang in 'Poomaram' song video.Kochi: The video of 'Poomaram' song from the upcoming Kalidas Jayaram-starrer and Abrid Shine directorial Poomaram has become the most liked Malayalam Video on YouTube.
The song was released on music label Muzik247's YouTube channel on November 18 and became a viral video in no time. The song led to various cover versions of the song, remix videos, troll videos and what not, making the song a viral phenomenon.
Currently the video has got more than 75,000 likes, which is the highest number of 'likes' that a Malayalam video has got on YouTube so far.
The breezy melody composed and sung by Faisal Razi to the lyrics of Aashaan Babu and Dayal Singh has also crossed 5 million views within this short span of time.
Written and directed by Abrid Shine, Poomaram marks the return of Kalidas Jayaram, son of actors Jayaram and Parvathy, to Malayalam cinema, and as the lead actor this time. Meera Jasmine and Kunchacko Boban are also part of the film.
The cinematography is handled by Gnaanam whereas the editing is done by Jith Joshie.
