Kochi: Hundreds of dejected football fans who were unable to obtain tickets for the ISL final match still waited outside the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Kaloor, Kochi claiming they were being cheated.

Many of them had come and stayed near the stadium overnight with the hope of buying tickets early morning.

Though the tickets were sold out by Saturday it is said that they were misled by rumors about the availability of tickets.

“There are tickets, but we are being cheated,” one of the the fans said echoing the sentiments of many who were present there.

“We have been coming to watch every ISL match held here. But we were unable to get the tickets for the final match, I don't know why”, another football enthusiast said.

However, the Kerala Blasters fans at the venue cheered in unison for the victory of their home team.

Tight security has been arranged in and around the stadium to ward off any untoward incident.
