Kochi: The Kerala police team probing the sensational Jisha murder case has unearthed more grotesque information about the accused Ameer-ul-Islam.
Kuruppampady police have filed a case against Ameer for engaging in sexual activities with a goat. If found guilty, he could be sentenced to life.
Police had acquired a video of a migrant worker using a goat for sex. During investigation, the police were able to ascertain that Ameer-ul-Islam, the Assam migrant worker, was the culprit caught in the video too.
He was nabbed from Tamil Nadu near Palakkad border last week. On Friday he was produced before the Magistrate in Perumbavoor, who remanded him to 14 days' judicial custody. Islam was later taken to sub-jail in Kakkanad.
According to police, Ameer had visited Jisha's home on April 28 morning when they had an altercation. He returned again in the afternoon in an inebriated condition and raped Jisha before murdering her.
