Kochi: Ankita Karat from Mumbai has won this year's Miss Queen of India title. Reshmitha Gowda from Chikmangalore and Aishwarya Dinesh from Bengaluru became first and second runners up in the grand finale held here on Wednesday.
As many as 18 contestants competed for the title crown at the grand finale.
Previous year's winner Kanika Kapoor crowned Ankita while and Manappuram Finance Ltd MD V.P. Nanda Kumar gave away the prizes to the runners up.
Ankita was awarded Rs 1.5 lakh. The first and second runners up won a cash prize of Rs 60,000 and Rs 40,000 respectively.
Kochi-native Archana Ravi was selected as Ms. Personality 2016.
The event was organized by PEGASUS event makers and the main title sponsor was Manappuram Finance Limited.
