Thiruvananthapuram: A hotel employee was murdered in broad daylight at Thampanoor here on Friday.
Ayyappan, a Tamil Nadu native and a receptionist at Hotel City Tower, was hacked to death in the morning.
The police arrested the accused a few hours after the incident. The arrested was identified as Ajish (36) of Ajish Bhavan, Kollad, Nedumangad.
CCTV visuals showed Ajish arriving in a motorbike and attacking Ayyappan around 8.30 am on Friday. The assailant fled the scene on the bike. The motive for murder is yet to be determined.
