Palakkad: Anev is the first to respond to when asked who is more interested in going to school.
If Anev raises his hand, Ameya and Aneya could not help, but follow suit, for the four-year-old triplets seldom differ with each other.
The trio will be starting their LKG class tomorrow at Valliyodu St Francis School.
Anev, Ameya and Aneya were born on September 10, 2012 to Sachin and Soorya of Aluvassery Kaliyath House in Nemmara.
The proud parents said the trio has been very excited to start school. To avoid ‘friction’ the kids were given similar bags, umbrellas, water bottles and books.
The trio has, for months, been curious to know when their schooling would begin, thanks to the daily sights of the neighbourhood children going to school. The three used to be at their gate to bid good bye to the older children heading to school.
Their curiosity was such that they used to wear the uniform of a relative’s child and watch themselves before the mirror, besides insisting on having food from the school lunchbox, said Rosy Joy, the triplet’s grandmother.
After getting their own bags, umbrellas and books, the children used to check them daily.
Parents Sachin and Soorya don’t think the children will be scared and cry for their mother at school. Sachin himself has a twin sibling, and he said having twins was nothing new in the family.
Meanwhile, Anev, Ameya and Aneya were checking out their new possessions—the bag and umbrella—with a smile.
