Srinagar: A Hizbul Mujahideen militant was on Saturday arrested and an AK assault rifle seized during an operation in Budgam district of central Kashmir, police said.

Ishfaq Ahmad Wani alias Molvi, a resident of Chechiloora, was arrested at village Peth Makhama in Magam area in the morning, a police officer said.
