Jaipur: Holding firm that Indian marriages last 'forever,' a Chinese couple Friday entered wedlock for a second time in accordance with the Hindu marriage traditions here.

Ding Weixing and Zhang Jikyi, who are from the Shanghai province of China, tied the nuptial knot at the Chaturbhuj Temple in Chhoti Chaupar in a grand ceremony.

The couple's marriage was solemnized in China nearly two years ago and they wanted to do it the Indian way in Jaipur, a favorite wedding destinations for foreigners.

Their local guide Vikas Goswami said the couple had come to India two days ago with a plan to get married as per Hindu tradition.

"They love each other and believe that Hindu tradition marriages last forever," the guide said, adding the couple does not speak Hindi or English.
