Dammam: Three Indian boys drowned in a swimming pool in the Dammam Industrial City in Saudi Arabia. Siblings Shamaz, 7, and Saufan, 5, had gone to the pool along with Hard, 5.
The siblings’ father, Navaz Basheer, from Kerala, and Hard’s father, Ravi, from Gujarat, worked with the BCI Company in Damam. Both families lived near their office.
The boys went to the pool on Monday evening and their families started looking for them after a while. The children were found drowned at about 6 pm.
Bashir and wife, Saumi, had been living in Dammam for four years. They had visited their home at Padanayarkulangara, near Karunagappally, six months ago.
Shamaz was a second standard student at the Dammam Indian Embassy School. Saufan was in kindergarten. The bodies will be flown to their hometown for burial.
