Gurgaon: A 21-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped on Wednesday by her former colleague and his friend after being lured by the promise of help in finding a job, a police officer said here.

A case of gang-rape has been registered against Keshav and Karn Singh, Assistant Commissioner of Police Hawa Singh said on Saturday.

Both the accused are about 24 years old.

The victim hails from Aligarh in Uttar Pradesh and has been living in a village near Manesar in Guragon district of Haryana, Hawa Singh said.

The victim said in her complaint that she had worked for a few months with Keshav in an insurance company.

"Now I was jobless and Keshav said he was arranging to find me a job. He called me at IMT Manesar Chowk on March 2 for an interview in a company," the woman said in her complaint.

"I was taken to an isolated area on Faridabad road and sexually assaulted in the moving car," she said.

"We have registered a case of gang-rape and are investigating it further," Hawa Singh said.

No arrest has been made yet.
