There has been no end to controversies in the ongoing India-Australia Test series for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

The third day of the fourth and final Test in Dharamsala witnessed a fresh row after Australian captain Steve Smith appeared to be calling Murali Vijay a 'f***ing cheat'. Smith was livid after TV replays confirmed that Vijay had claimed a bump catch and sprinted back to the pavilion believing the Australian innings had come to an end. However, Australian No. 11 Josh Hazlewood was declared not out by the TV umpire and the Indians had to return to the field again. Smith was caught on camera mouthing 'f***ing cheat'.

Vijay was seen telling on-field umpire Ian Gould that he had taken a clean catch. The Australians, though, could not capitalize on the reprieve as Hazlewood fell in the same over bowled by R. Ashwin as their second innings folded up for 137.

Vijay was back on the field soon and he along with opening partner K.L. Rahul saw India to stumps, knocking off 19 vital runs in 6 overs. India need 87 more runs to clinch the series.

India's regular skipper Virat Kohli had all but accused Smith of systematic cheating after the latter sought assistance from dressing room whether to go for a DRS after he was trapped in front of the wicket by Umesh Yadav in the second Test in Bengaluru.

The Dharamsala Test too witnessed a fair bit of sledging between the two sides.
