The news comes days after reports emerged that the AAP and local political outfit Twenty20 had formed an alliance to back a common candidate for the Thrikkakara seat.
Sabu, who is the chief coordinator of Twenty20, said the coalition will soon announce a common candidate for the Thrikkakara bypoll.
The visit of AAP national convenor assumes significance in the wake of speculation that the AAP and the Twenty20 would field a joint candidate in the upcoming Thrikkakkara assembly bypoll.
