Since Kerala reports a higher number of Covid cases daily, a decision on reopening educational institutions will be taken after examining the situation in other states post reopening of schools.

The state government recently formed a special committee to implement the digital education in higher education institutions including colleges and universities.
Earlier, CBSE had informed that the Class 12 results will be declared on July 31.
A total of 420 seats are at the government colleges, and 406 at the self-financing colleges.
Universities and higher education institutions have been asked to ensure that the admission process for undergraduate courses begins only after the declaration of results by the CBSE, ICSE and all state boards.
State Minister for Higher Education, R Bindu, inaugurated the centenary celebrations at an event, conducted in accordance with the Covid protocol, on Monday.
Only the score of the entrance examination will be considered. The minister said that the file is with the Chief Minister for the final decision.
The CBSE had on June 4 constituted a 13-member committee to work out the criteria. The panel was given ten days to submit its report.
In a letter sent to schools, the CBSE Examination Controller said that it has been observed that some schools have not been able to complete the school-based assessments in various subjects due to the Covid pandemic.
