Tamil Nadu forest department translocated the elephant to a deep forest near Mundanthurai Tiger Reserve.
In the plainlands of Cumbum in Tamil Nadu, Arikomban did not get a chance to escape and hide away.
With a deep injury on its trunk, Arikomban was found very weak as it continues to stand for hours in the wildlife ambulance since Monday.
It is the second translocation, inside two months, of the rogue wild tusker from Idukki's Chinnakanal.
On April 29, Kerala forest department had tranquilised Arikomban and relocated it to Periyar tiger reserve
