General Education Minister V Sivankutty said the timing of the examinations will remain the same.
While the Class 11 exams are scheduled to get over by October 18, the VHSE exams will be over by October 13.
Plus-one examinations begin on September 24 and end on October 18 while VHSE exams start on September 24 and finish by October 13.
The vocational high-secondary and higher secondary admissions will end on September 29 and October 1, respectively.
Classes from 1 to 7 will be held on three days on shift basis.
First-year HSE and VHSE exams that were scheduled to end on September 16 has been extended till September 27.
The candidates may apply online till September 3.
Students are allowed into the laboratories only after recording their body temperature. Separate exams will be conducted for those testing positive for coronavirus.
Six states have already conducted examinations and 18 states have cancelled it, but four states (Assam, Punjab, Tripura and Andhra Pradesh) have not cancelled the examination so far.
The VHSE first-year exam will be held from September 7 to 16.
