The first allotment as per the ranking of CLAT for five year LLB course in 22 national law universities has been published.
The allotment is based on the available online options as at 5 pm on October 6.
The second allotment for engineering courses in the state was postponed to October 23 due to the ongoing allotment through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
As per the Centre's Unlock 5.0 guidelines, all schools, other than those in containment zones, can resume functioning from October 15.
Alan Babu of Peroor in Kollam is at the second spot in the state with an all-India rank of 237. He is followed by Adithya Baiju of Vettilathazham in Kollam with an all-India rank of 592.
The Rajendra Babu Committee is examining whether there is any legal hurdle in determining the fee at this stage.
Those who lost their favourite subject by a narrow margin on the basis of their marks in the first phase of allotment will not get a chance in the supplementary allotment.
Though the Centre had said that schools can be reopened on October 15, most states are not in favour of this.
While the 100 per cent cut-offs have been a matter of debate, the required marks were expected to be higher this year as over 1.84 lakh students scored above 90 percent and more than 41,000 students scored above 95 percent marks in CBSE class 12.
