The 77-year-old actor, who was admitted to Nanavati hospital along with son Abhishek after testing positive for COVID-19 on July 11, expressed his gratitude to well-wishers for their continued support and prayers.
Abhishek took to Instagram, where he shared a picture of his "My Care Board" placed in his room in the hospital.
Abhishek is in the hospital along with his father, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan, who is also battling the coronavirus.
The actor took to social media to share the good news on Saturday.
On returning home after 22 days, Amitabh Bachchan took to his blog to express his feelings after recovering from COVID-19.
Abhishek too has often expressed his love towards his father on social media.
