This development follows a directive from the Supreme Court on March 19 in a contempt case related to the publication of these advertisements.
The bench also issued notice to Ramdev to show cause why contempt proceedings were not initiated against him.
The bench also cautioned Patanjali Ayurved and its officers from making any statements adverse to any system of medicine in the media, both print and electronic, in any form as they said in their undertaking before the court earlier.
The court said it would also consider imposing costs to the extent of Rs 1 crore on every product regarding which a false claim is made that it can 'cure' a particular disease.
Ramdev, 56, had conducted a Yoga Science Camp & Women's Meeting through his Patanjali Yoga Peeth and Mumbai Mahila Patanjali Yoga Samiti in Thane.
When informed about Ramdev's advertisement in the media against allopathy, the Chief Justice said, 'what is the guarantee that Ayurveda will cure all diseases'.
