Kottayam: Applications can be submitted for the PG Diploma course in Journalism at the Manorama School of Communication (MASCOM) in Kottayam till August 5.
There are two specialisations - 1) Print / Digital 2) Broadcast / Digital.
Candidates with a bachelor’s degree in any discipline are eligible to apply. Those who are awaiting the final-year results can also apply. The admission will be on the basis of an online written test and an interview.
MASCOM trains students to face the media challenges of today. Along with the state-of-the-art technology of Malayala Manorama, MASCOM also has teachers who have proven their expertise both within the country and abroad. Facilities include a digital newsroom, TV studio, post-production technology, and workstations with broadband connectivity for students. The classes will begin in October. The online classes will be conducted till the government gives the nod for offline classes.
