Planning to study in the US? Attend this free post-graduate fair at Kochi on Feb 17

Kochi: Are you planning to pursue higher education in the United States? Worried about finding the right institute and course? Confused over the application and admission process? Get answers to all your queries at a free US higher education fair to be held in Kochi on February 17, Saturday.

The US Post-Graduate Student Fair is open to students interested in master’s or doctoral degree programs in the United States. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet 18 US higher education representatives, EducationUSA advisers, and visa officers/diplomats from the US Consulate General Chennai, during the fair.

The event will be held from 3 pm to 7 pm at the Sree Gokulam Convention Center, Banerji Road, Kochi.

The fair is hosted by the US Department of Commerce, the International Trade Administration, the US Commercial Service in India, and the US Consulate General, Chennai. It is being held in association with the Kerala government-run recruitment agency Overseas Development and Employment Promotion Consultants Ltd (ODEPC). 

In a press note issued by the Consulate, Christopher Hodges, US Consul General, Chennai, highlighted that the United States remains the top host of international students globally, a reflection of the quality, diversity, and innovation of American higher education institutions.  He also spoke about how the US-India initiative on critical and emerging technologies, known as iCET, will drive new advances and investment in next generation fields like commercial space, artificial intelligence, quantum, and green hydrogen and the role US and Indian universities and businesses can play in that effort. 

The Consulate General also encouraged the students in Kerala to plan their #StudyInTheUS dream with their official social media handle @EdUSA_India.
