“In the early days the youngsters used to be protectors. That has changed. Everyone, including friends, should be looked at with caution now," she said.
Condemning the attack on a prominent actress in Kochi recently she said that strong action should be taken against the culprits.
"Atrocities of this kind were meted out to actresses earlier too. But the governments always failed to punish the accused. That is the reason why such crimes are repeated," Kasim, who was here to conduct a stage show, Vaishakha Sandhya, said.
