TV actress Lakshmi Sanal has lodged a complaint with the cyber cell of the police department after her photos went viral on social media platforms as the actress who was visited by Sajeev Kumar, SI, Puthenkurishu late night on Thursday.
Though Sajeev maintained that he had visited the actress over friendly relations, the mob refused to buy the statement and the SI was beaten-up badly. Although the name of the actress has not been revealed, social media buzz is that the actress is none other than Lakshmi.
Talking to media over the incident, serial celebrities association – Athma - general secretary Dinesh Panicker said, “It is quite natural these days that the names of serial artists come up whenever such incidents happen. It is in fact a shame for the celebrities, who have names similar to the people involved in such cases.”
