Kochi: Malayalam actor-director Lal on Friday also said that he was disheartened to notice that some reports accused film producer Anto Joseph of playing a role in the actress attack case.
''I had called up Anto soon after the incident. He stood with the actress during the time of crisis. And now people are pointing fingers at him. I am disheartened to see the trouble he has to go through for offering to help the actress,” he said.

The noted Malayalam actress was waylaid and harassed while she was traveling from Thrissur to Kochi in a film unit's car.
