And the latest to join the growing chorus of Nivin Pauly's fan club is none other than Kollywood's Ilayathalapathy Vijay.

'Theri' update: Vijay's daughter to make her debut

Nivin Pauly was recently invited to Vijay's office in Chennai. And it was not just a routine affair. Bowled over by Nivin's dashing protagonist in Premam, Vijay wanted to congratulate the young Malayalam star.

Vijay appreciated the efforts the team took for Premam.

Nivin Pauly himself took to Facebook to share his delight by posting a photo with Ilayathalapathy.

It seems the stars had a tete-e-tete about cinema and Kerala. Nivin told Vijay that he was eagerly waiting for Vijay's Theri.

Earlier, director Shankar and Selvaraghavan too had lauded "Premam" team, which recently crossed 225 days in Chennai.

Currently, Nivin Pauly is gearing up for the release of Action Hero Biju will hit theatres on 4 February.
