The motif of a ‘mooch’ has long been considered as a symbol of manliness. But for us, Keralites, no ‘mooch’ is as manly as the twirled mustache of Mohanlal.
Nivin Pauly thinks so, too. The actor, who was much criticized for aping Mohanlal in ‘Premam’, recently had a fan moment with the man who made mustache twirling so mainstream. Yes, Mohanlal himself!
Pauly, who got to share the stage with the superstar at the success celebration of 'Oppam', had a very strange wish for Mohanlal. He asked if the mass hero could twist his mustache, just like the way he did in ‘Ravanaprabhu’, to which he sportingly replied, “Mone nee piricho'' (dear, you may do it for me).
Hearing this, an excited Nivin grabbed the chance and fans got to see an interesting moment between the stars.
Later, Nivin said, ''In Premam, I tried to imitate Lalettan's Spadikam style.''
