Pranav Mohanlal and Jeethu JosephIt was a moment of joy for the fans of superstar Mohanlal when he announced the entry of his son Pranav as a hero in director Jeethu Joseph's upcoming thriller.
Pranav's association with Jeethu Joseph goes back to the times he worked as an assistant director for 'Life of Josutty' and 'Papanasam'.
Talking to Onmanorama, Jeethu Joseph opens up about opting Pranav for his flick and more about the movie:
''The movie will be on the lines of a thriller similar to Memories. The movie will go on floors by January. Can't reveal much about the characters as script works are still on.
''Pranav is one such person who takes his own decisions in life according to his interests. And now it's his own interest to switch his career as an actor," said Jeethu.

On how he ended up casting Pranav in the lead role, Jeethu says, ''It was a common friend of Mohanlal and mine who told me about Pranav's interest in acting. And, I had an outline of a film in my mind that time. Later on when I briefed him about the story, Pranav expressed his interest in the project.''
On the other hand, actor Mohanlal told Onmanorama that he was extremely glad for his son's decision. ''Pranav had been associated with many of the leading directors in the industry. And many of them had expressed an interest to work with him. Maybe because of the friendship with Jeethu he agreed to do the film'', said Mohanlal.
