Vinayakan won the award for his portrayal of Ganga in 'Kammatipaadam'.He just won the Best Actor honor at the 2016 Kerala State Film Awards, but Vinayakan stays the same. A man of less words who does not like to play for the media.
When a horde of mediapersons gathered around him at his home and asked him how he felt, Vinayakan said, “I am very happy. But don't ask me to act out a scene from the movie now.”
Someone else asked him – future acting plans? “Till death, I will act till death,” Vinayakn said pumping his fist in the air.
Vinayakan won the award for his rustic, natural portrayal of Ganga in Rajeev Ravi directorial Kammatipaadam.
