KSRTC driver transferred for not stopping bus near lady passenger’s home after dusk

Moolamattom: A driver who did not stop the bus to drop a lady passenger off near her house even after dusk has been transferred, KSRTC managing director Biju Prabhakar said.

S Jayachandran of the Kattappana unit was transferred to the administrative ground of Thiruvananthapuram city unit as part of disciplinary action.

The woman, who was travelling in the Kattappana-Thodupuzha bus service on November 9, had asked the driver to stop the bus near the Arakkulam stop, but he failed to do so which led to the disciplinary action.
