Chalakudy: The investigation team of the Kerala police probing the case pertaining to the mysterious death of Malayalam actor Kalabhavan Mani has conducted polygraph tests on six people who were present at Paddy, the late actor’s farmhouse, during the days before his death.
His close aides Aneesh, Joby, Peter, Murugan, Arun and Vipin underwent the lie-detector test at the State Forensic Science Laboratory in Thiruvananthapuram, it is learned.
Mani, who was suffering from chronic liver and kidney ailments, was admitted to a private hospital in Kochi on March 5 in an unconscious state. He died on March 6.

Mani’s relatives alleged foul play following the release of the laboratory findings and sought a high-level investigation into the death.
They also submitted a complaint to the chief minister demanding a CBI probe to unravel the mystery behind his death.
Though the state government had given consent for the CBI inquiry, the agency has not taken over the probe yet.
