Popular Malayalam scenarist TA Razzaq passes away
Popular actors Mammootty, Mohanlal, Jairam, directors Priyadarshan, Siby Malayil, Kamal and several others from the industry paid homage to the award-winning writer.
TA Razzaq's body kept at Moyinkutty Vaidyar Smarakam in Kondotty. Sameer A AhamedRazzaq, who began his career as a scriptwriter in 1991 for Mohanlal-starrer Vishnulokam, had written for about 30 Malayalam movies. He had won state award for best story and screenplay for the film Kanakinavu directed by Sibi Malayail.
He died at a private hospital in Kochi on Monday.
Some of the popular movies for which he penned the script are Perumazhaklam, Naadodi, Aayirathil Oruvan, Uthaman, Bhoomigeetham, Gazal, Karma, Kaanaakkinaavu, Thaalolam, Chithrashalabham, Sneham and Saaphalyam.
