A petition was also filed before the State Human Rights Commission seeking postponement of the practical exams in view of the COVID-19 situation in the state.
Officials said that telecasts of special revision classes and audiobooks for Plus One students would start after the announcement of the public exam dates.
The council had earlier announced to defer classes 10 and 12 board exams, which were to be held from May 4.

The new dates for the examination will be announced later.
The decision followed a directive by Governor Arif Muhammed Khan to the University vice-chancellors to postpone the exams in view of the spread of the coronavirus.
Most students failed to clear subjects such as Management Optimization and Specialized Accounting.
Class 10 students who do not appear in offline exams will be evaluated based on an alternative assessment method.
The developments came as the central government announced the cancellation of class 10 exams and the postponement of class 12 exams conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education.
