The institutions will be considering the score of the Common Admission Test (CAT) for shortlisting the candidates for their 2 years full-time MBA programme.
According to AICTE, government or private universities will no longer be able to offer both PGDM and MBA courses simultaneously and will have to choose either of the two.
For the past several years, various universities were conducting K-MAT on behalf of the admission supervisory committee.
All candidates from India must appear for XAT 2021, while NRI and foreign candidates may apply through their GMAT scores.
Many state management exams have also been cancelled due to fear of the spread of COVID-19.
