The Preliminary examination is scheduled on May 28 and the Mains from September 15 onwards.
According to an official statement, Ministry of Railways has decided that recruitment to Indian Railway Management Service (IRMS) will be done through the Civil Services Examination to be conducted by the UPSC for the year 2023.
There are around 1,000 all-India seats for which at least 10 lakh candidates apply for the preliminary test. However, only around five lakh candidates normally appear for the prelims and among them, a miniscule percentage win.
As the publication of degree results got delayed, five students who studied in Delhi University and Kurukshetra University approached the apex court.
He added that the execution of tasks and projects becomes easier when the bureaucrats and the elected representatives work for the welfare of the society by staying within the legal mandates.
Interestingly, Jojin had written the IFS exam in the last five years. However, he didn’t even pass the prelims four times. In 2019 and 2020, he was selected to the interview round of the Civil Services Examination. But, this year, Jojin concentrated only on the IFS exam.
