In a financial year, Supplyco allocates more than Rs 350 crore for subsidies, with the government granting Rs 190 crore for market intervention.
Christmas markets were opened in all the districts last year, this time around, they have been restricted to Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Kottayam, Ernakulam, and Thrissur.
It is learnt that Supplyco has already approached the Beverages Corporation to know about its operations.
