The Delhi Police had beefed up security at Jantar Mantar following protesting wrestlers' call for a 'Mahila Samman Mahapanchayat' before the new Parliament building on Sunday.
The grapplers called it a 'black day' as their agitation entered the 18th day.
The protesting wrestlers also said that they will oppose holding of competitions if Brij Bhushan is involved in their organisation.
Bajrang Punia disclosed that the protesting wrestlers have formed two committees to conduct the long-drawn-out fight.
A picture of Bajrang and his wife Sangeeta Phogat having food at the hotel's restaurant went viral on social media.
Babita Phogat, who represents BJP, had tweeted against the ongoing protest at Jantar Mantar.
The wrestlers have been protesting at Jantar Mantar in Delhi since last weekend. Over the last four days, the wrestlers have slept and trained at the protest site.
Vinesh trained with Sangita Phogat, whereas Sakshi was helped by her husband Satyawart Kadian, the Arjuna awardee wrestler.
The letter has been signed by five wrestlers, including Tokyo Olympics medallists Ravi Dahiya and Bajrang Punia.
Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has been at the helm of WFI since 2011. He was elected President for the third consecutive time in February, 2019.
