Karyavattom: Selected papers presented at a national seminar organised by the Kerala University Researchers' Union recently have now been published as a book. Chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan handed over the book, titled ‘The Scholar’, to Dr.P P Ajayakumar, the Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of Kerala. The programme was held at the chief minister’s chamber on Wednesday.

Researchers union chairman Vishnu KP edited the book and the researchers' union, University of Kerala, has published it.

The multidisciplinary articles stand out for the impressions of experts in different fields of study. “This collection is an evidence of the significant development of research carried out by scholars in enhancing their wisdom on their areas of interest. This indeed is a breakthrough considering the various activities organised by the Researcher’s Union. There might be flaws, but this represents the dedication, perseverance, and prudence exhibited by the scholars in enriching their experiences through interdisciplinary studies,” said Vishnu.

Dr.C.R.Prasad, the university registrar, Manesh P, general secretary of researcher’s union, John Williams, the union vice-chairman, Lakshmi Prabha, vice-chairperson of researcher’s union, and Anakha A S, unit committee member, participated in the programme.
