New Delhi: A special software would be used for preparing the questions papers for exams such as the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) from next year onwards.

The question paper would be prepared with the help of the software from the questions set by the experts.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is setting up the new system to reduce malpractice in the exams. The new software would also be later used for other exams conducted by the NTA. The NTA officials said that the aim is to reduce human intervention in the preparation of the question papers as much as possible. Twenty students from Haryana were debarred last year for cheating in the JEE-Main exam.

JEE-Main registration
The JEE-Main exam registration would begin in a few days, according to the NTA. It was earlier announced that the registration would commence this week. The registration is getting delayed as confusion prevails over the schedule of various exams.
