Create your own Maveli bot! Learn Robotics at Horizon's three-day camp

Malayala Manorama's education portal Horizon, in association with Unique World Robotics (UWR), is organising a three-day event 'BotOnam Robotics Camp: Unleash the MaveliBot and Beyond!' from August 31 to September 2.

The camp will provide a chance to explore robotics, AI and Machine Learning (ML) activities, metaverse exploration, and Maveli bot making. Students in Classes 8 to 12 can register for the event.

Activities and challenges are tailored in such a manner to create an engaging learning experience.

To ensure that each participant has an enriching and hands-on learning experience, a specially curated Onam-themed robotics kit will be provided. This kit includes all the essential components needed to build and customise your very own Maveli bot.

Experienced and dedicated robotics trainers from UWR will be holding the classes. The course fee is Rs 3,000.

Day 1

• Camp orientation and icebreaker activities

• Introduction to metaverse concepts

• AR/VR hands-on game development and testing

• Create a "MaveliVerse" VR game

Day 2

• Introduction to AI and ML

• AI and ML-based fun game activities

• AI Maveli Face Filter development

Day 3

• Introduction to robotics and real-world applications

• Making and testing of Maveli bot

• Design fun activities

• Feedback and project idea presentation
