The teaser of K V Anand's Tamil action thriller 'Kaappaan' starring popular South Indian actors Suriya and Mohanlal was released at 7 pm on Sunday. In the flick Suriya plays a bodyguard to Prime Minister, being essayed by superstar Mohanlal. Touted to be an action-thriller, the fans have already set hopes high about the film.
"Get ready guys #KAAPPAAN teaser releasing at 7pm ...", the production team tweeted.
As per reports actor-couple Arya and Sayyeshaa and Samuthirakani will also play supporting roles in the flick.
The movie will hit the screens in August this year.
Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, the music of 'Kaappaan' will be handled by Harris Jayaraj.
'Kaappaan' was shot in locations including those in Brazil, London, New York, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and Chennai among many others.
Suriya, who has wrapped shooting for 'Kaappaan,' will be next seen in Selvaraghavan's 'NGK ', also starring Malayalam actor Aparna Balamurali.
Meanwhile, the logo of Suriya's another project 'Suriya 38' was unveiled the other day and the movie will now be called 'Soorarai Pottru'.
The first single from Suriya's upcoming release 'NGK' was also released.
With the release of 'Kaappaan', it will be a triple treat for Suriya fans this Tamil New Year.
