Chennai: Actress Manjima Mohan has been paired with actor Vishal in the upcoming Tamil actioner Sandakozhi 2 to be directed by N. Lingusamy.
"Manjima has been finalised as the heroine. The shooting will commence from August," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
Sandakozhi 2, the sequel of 2005 action blockbuster Sandakozhi, will feature music by Yuvan Shankar Raja.
The project was supposed to happen much earlier. However, due to various reasons, it got postponed.
Lingusamy, according to a source close to him, has postponed a bilingual project with Telugu actor Allu Arjun for Sandakozhi 2.
"Lingusamy wants to complete long delayed Sandakozhi 2 first. He will then work on the bilingual with Arjun," the source told IANS.
