Many from the industry has come forward to support National award winner Samuthirakani's upcoming Tamil movie Appa. And now, the latest celeb have his back is none other than Malayalam actress Manju Warrier.
As part of the promotions of the movie Appa, Manju Warrier has shared some of her special moments and the video was released online. The film, directed by Samuthirakani, features the actor himself playing the lead. The rest of the star cast comprises Thambi Ramaiah, Vinodhini ,Vignesh, Gabriella and Yuva Lakshmi. Ilaiyaraaja has composed the music for the film. The film is said to be a spiritual sequel to Saattai.
Talking about her father Manju said, "My memories with my dad begins from Kanyakumari where I was brought up. Just to make us smile, he always use to hide sadness within himself. He was always like a tree giving shelter to many."
Manju got emotional talking about the traumas her father faced after being diagnosed with cancer.
"It was from him that I learnt how to face all hardships in life. He stood by me whenever I took a life turning decisions. In fact the biggest strength in life is his support through all thick and thin," said Manju.
