After playing the younger version of Thomas Chacko(Aadu Thoma) in the film Spadikam, young filmmaker Roopesh Peethambaran hit the headlines when news about him facing the camera once again for the upcoming movie Oru Mexican Aparatha surfaced online.
While the title song of the film won rave reviews from the audiences, all eyes were on Roopesh Peethambaran for his different avatar. “Looking at me, I was myself surprised after watching the song. I put on about 95kg for the movie and I was wondering how on earth will I attain my old self'', recalls Roopesh.
That's when Roopesh talked about his concern to his friend and co-star Tovino who in turn asked him not to worry and even suggested his own fitness trainer Shyjan Augustine from Catamount gym.
''Thanks to Shyjan who had earlier trained stars like Tovino and Unni Mukundan, I reduced my weight from 95kg to 75 kg. With 2hrs of rigorous work out in the morning and evening, I was back in shape within two months. Oats, vegetable salad, chappati, fish and fruits were the major food keeping away all the junk food, biriyani, and chicken'', said Roopesh.
