Shaalin ZoyaShaalin Zoya has kept her fans waiting for long. The pretty actor was missing in action since her latest outing in Vishudhan. The wait is over though. The actor has bagged the lead role in the Tamil flick Raja Manthri, directed by Usha Krishnan.
Shaalin has acted in 21 Malayalam movies since her debut in ‘Quotation’ in 2004. Her roles in ‘Mallu Singh’ and ‘Elsamma Enna Aankutti’ have endeared herself to the Malayali audience.
So how does she plan to celebrate Eid? She says she is going through the rigours of the Ramzan fasting. She never compromises on fasting as she knows that the spiritual energy carries her through the rest of the year.
She says she is really looking forward to the festivities as she will be joined by her father, who is in Riyadh. She will be in her ancestral house in Tirur along with mother Banusha and brother Shanid.
“There are some tastes which you can find only in north Kerala. Once you have tasted them, you cannot settle for anything else,” she reminisces. She likes chicken in whatever form. Occasionally she ventures into the kitchen just for the fun of it. She even dares to give tips to her mother on cooking!
