Actor Varalakshmi just made her Mollywood debut opposite Malayalam superstar Mammootty with Kasaba, which hit theatres worldwide on Thursday.
The actress donned the role of a powerful character named Kamala, who is a lady don.
Recently, Varalaxmi, Mammootty, and the film's director Nithin Renji Panicker attended a TV show and when asked what she felt when she saw superstar Mammootty for the first time, all were surprised to hear her reply. Varalaxmi said that she felt 'pukish' and wanted to throw up.
Shocked by her response, Mammootty asked if his face looked that ugly. For which, Varalaxmi clarified that she went into a frenzy after seeing her childhood hero in the flesh for the first time and added that the feeling was out of fear and respect.
Well, by all means, it seems like Varalaxmi Sarathkumar has got a perfect launch in Malayalam cinema.
