Tamil superstar Suriya's latest thriller, 24, has been doing tremendous business at worldwide box office ever since its release.
While many have applauded 24 as Suriya's best movie till date, a lot more have praised Vikram Kumar's treatment of the movie and the perfection seen in its making. Although everyone is in awe of the director, Vikram has yet another dream.

In an exclusive interview with Manorama Online, Vikram Kumar revealed that his dream project is a Mohanlal movie. The director, who hails from Thrissur, said that he has watched Kilukkam over a 1000 times. The young filmmaker, who had assisted veteran director Priyadarshan in the past, had met Mohanlal several times in Suresh Balaji's office. However, Vikram never gathered enough courage to talk to his favourite actor, openly.

“Mohanlal is one of the rare actors, who has the ability to attract audience with the innocence in his acting style. I am a die-hard fan of Mohanlal, and if possible, I would like to like to direct a Malayalam film soon with him,” said Vikram.
Vikram Kumar was born and brought up outside Kerala. As his cousins and family are settled in Thrissur, he makes sure that he visits his hometown often.
