Abdul Ilyas who works in Kazakhstan is thrilled that he had built his dream abode in his hometown in Tirur in Malappuram district, Kerala. The family wanted a simple house that is easier to maintain. Besides, they wished to have all the modern amenities too. The architect had drawn the plan by catering to the likes and interests of the family.
The elevation features a chic flat box style. The serene charm of the white hue is the highlight of the outer walls. Meanwhile, the black claddings add the perfect contrast here. Painted cement finish groves too grant a stylish look to the exteriors. The front yard has been paved with natural stones and grass in alternate layers. The floating style car porch that extends to one side of the structure is an interesting feature.
The interiors are designed in the semi open style. The living and the dining areas are arranged as part of the spacious hall. A simple semi partition is what separates the two areas.
False ceiling in gypsum veneer finish and matching LED light fittings grant a mesmerizing ambience to the interiors. Tiles in rustic finish have been used for flooring in this house.
The interiors aren’t crowded with furniture and other décor. The custom-made furniture pieces perfectly suits the general theme of the interiors. The dining table set is simple yet elegant. An open serving counter connects the dining area to the kitchen. Natural light enters the house in abundance through the skylights above the dining area and also on the walls here.
There are two bedrooms in the ground floor while there is one in the upper floor. The bedrooms are minimal yet comfortable. The bath attached bedrooms have full length wardrobes for storage.
The kitchen cabinets are done in marine plywood with mica finish. The counter top, meanwhile, has been paved with granite. An in - built breakfast in the centre of the kitchen is an interesting addition. This area could be used as a cutting and cooking counter too.
This beautiful house attracts attention for its chic contemporary style and fabulous facilities. The family is proud that their friends and relatives are showering praises on their brand new house.
